A production cross-platform Flutter mobile driver app and backend dispatch gateway engineered to coordinate 200+ commercial freight drivers with real-time GPS route telemetry and offline digital manifest signing.
THE CHALLENGE
Commercial delivery operations relied on paper manifests and manual phone calls. Spotty cellular connectivity in rural transit zones caused missing delivery receipts, 25% delivery status delays, and high administrative overhead.
THE SOLUTION
Designed and engineered an offline-first Flutter mobile application for iOS and Android. Implemented local SQLite caching with auto-retry background synchronization, digital parcel barcode scanning, and instant customer signature capture.
